Christine Virginia Taylor

Taylor, Christine Virginia, 69, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018 in her home. She was born in Petersburg, West Virginia on December 21, 1948 the daughter of John Otto and Alice Virginia (Coffman) Kessel. She was employed at Eaglewood Village Retirement Apartments from the time it opened in 1986 until retiring in 2015. She is survived by her children, Stacey (Rich) Nice of Arizona, John D. (Misty) Taylor of Urbana and Angel (Mike) York of Virginia; grandchildren, Chelsie Cozine, Philip Taylor, Mary Jo Taylor, Tiffany (Robert) Beam, Britain Gilliam and Anthony A. Haerr; six great grandchildren; brother, John E. (Vicky) Kessel of Springfield and an assortment of close friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack D. Taylor in 2007 and her parents. Her wishes were to have no services held, however a gathering of family and friends to celebrate her life will be held at the convenience of whoever wants to celebrate.
