Charlotte King

King, Charlotte, 95, of Alpena, Michigan and formerly of Springfield, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018 in Medilodge of Alpena. She was born in Preble County, Ohio on June 20, 1923 the daughter of Ralph and Vera (Hodson) Haddix. She worked for Wren's Department Store for 25 years and later worked for Penney's for about 12 years. She was a former member of St. Teresa Catholic Church. Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, James (Eva) Haddix; sister, Janet (Jack) Cordell; four step-grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh King, Sr.; son, Hugh King, Jr. and sister, Lois Price. Her funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Thursday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Hillsboro, Ohio.
