Charles L. "Chuck" Michener

Michener, Charles L. "Chuck," 68, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016 in the Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital at The Ohio State University. Chuck was born June 3, 1947 in Springfield, OH to Charles W. and Ruth A. (Miller) Michener. He was a member of The UAW Retirees Chapter, where he was a Trustee, the Knights of Pythias, where he was a former Chancellor Commander, the Union Club, the Eagles, and the Machinist Club. Survivors include his wife, Beverly; four children, Tracey (Kevin) Blake, Dr. Chad (Dr. Vicki Reed) Michener, Beth (Craig O'Neal) Michener and Kimberly Robbins; one step-son, Michael Lyons; five grandchildren, Zoe Michener, Teresa Robbins, Elijah Robbins, Halina Michener and Taryn Michener; three sisters, Judith (Robert) Livingston, Cheryl Stooksberry and Sue Ehrman; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Teresa (Figgins); and his parents. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Chris Livingston officiating. Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery. After the burial, a Celebration of Life will be held at the Eagles Club on Selma Rd. Memorial donations may be made in his name to the Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital at The Ohio State University.
