Carol J. McNeil

McNeil, Carol J., 70, of Springfield, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, August 20, 2013 in the emergency room of Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born March 20, 1943 in Springfield, OH to Harold R. and Mary C. (Doyle) Roller. Carol retired as the office manager for Appraisal Research, and prior to that worked at Sears for many years. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, a 1961 graduate of Catholic Central High School and a member of the Elks Lodge 51. She is survived by a daughter and son in law, Kathy and Mike Mason; two grandsons, Casey and Josh Mason; two sisters, Joann DeWine and Marilyn (Dennis) Kelly all of Springfield; numerous nieces and nephews and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Richard; a son, Kevin; and two brothers, Robert and Richard Roller. Friends may call in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday in St. Bernard Church. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to the Second Harvest Food Bank.
