Candis E. "Candy" Elliott

ELLIOTT, Candis E. "Candy", 60, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2016 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born June 14, 1956 in Springfield the daughter of John and Barbara (Wight) Van Meter. Candis worked as an assembler for Honda for a number of years. She was a member of the Machinist Club and an avid gardener. She was always willing to help others and liked by all who met her. Survivors include three children and spouse, Misty & Johnie Elsenburg, London, Calista Elliott, Springfield and Kyle Sims, South Vienna; five grandchildren, Aidan, Addison, Jaxon, Braelynn and Arianna; seven brothers and sisters, Gary & Sherry Elliott, Rita & Rich Farson, Randy & Lisa Elliott, Andrea & Steve Schumacher, Kellie & Earl Speakman, Jackie Cosby & Scott Pollock and Chris & Rob Hinkle; her boyfriend, Bruce Shackleford and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her adoptive father, Gene Elliott. Private Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements by CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
