Cultice, Betty Lou, 83, of Cedarville passed away unexpectedly February 19, 2013 at the Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born in Grape Grove, OH on February 28, 1930 to Wynn and Charlotte (Stringfellow) Spence. Betty worked at Vernay Labs for 25 years and was also a Sunday school teacher at Clifton United Presbyterian Church for a number of years. She loved to crochet and provided chocolate chip cookies to many local organizations, including Cedarville College Athletics. Her passion was her grandchildren and she never missed a single sporting event and always kept stats. She is survived and will be missed by husband of 64 years Carl "Curly" Cultice, son Michael (Carole) Cultice, grandchildren Branden (Christy) Cultice, Ashley (Mike) Schibler, Jorden Cultice and great-grandchild Olivia Schibler. Betty was the oldest of 6 daughters, Iolene Ratliff (deceased), Margaret Austin, Mary Riggs, Shirley (Ed) Courtright, and Frances (Roger) Young. Her youngest sister Frances, who lived close by, lovingly assisted in her care the past few years. Visitation will be held from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Friday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. A Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday with Rev. Arby Conn officiating. Burial to follow at Garlough Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Clifton United Presbyterian Church or the Cedarville Fire Department.
