Betty L. Mitchell

MITCHELL, Betty L., 88, of Springfield, our loving mother, went to the arms of The Lord on Friday, July 24, 2015 in Villa Springfield. She was born April 28, 1927 in Springfield, Ohio the daughter of Clarence E. and Margaret (Stevens) Peck. She retired from Roediger Realty after many years where she was a member of the Million Dollar Club. Survivors include four children and spouses, Michealeen & Dewey Vulgamore, Judith Harmer & Gene Taylor, David & Tenna Mitchell and Laura Brush; eight grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; siblings, John William & Maryanne Peck, Richard & Lavina Peck and Carolyn & Jay Roberts and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Mitchell in 2013, her parents, a brother, Clarence E. Peck, Jr and a son-in-law, Mark Brush. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Villa Springfield and Vitas Hospice for all their care. Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Dwight McCormick officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the National Parkinson's Foundation.
