Betty L. Burkhard

Burkhard, Betty L., 93, of Springfield died at 8:44 a.m. Saturday, August 11, 2018 in Villa Springfield. She was born August 10, 1925 in Springfield, Ohio and raised by her aunt and uncle, Ann and Dusty Pummill. In the 1960's and 1970's she was a Union Leader for Thermometer Corporation of America and then later worked for Sheehan Brothers and Fulmer's. She was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church. Survivors include her son and spouse, Tom (Dianna) Burkhard; grandson, Thomas Burkhard, II and two great grandchildren, Jordan and Sydney Burkhard who she dearly loved. She was preceded in death by her husband, William, daughter, Pamela Bishop and brother, Charles. The family would like to give a special thanks to Villa Springfield and Conroy Funeral Home for all their tender, loving care. Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Merrill Mellott officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.
