Betty Jane Bohn

BOHN, Betty Jane, 85, of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 in her residence. She was born July 31, 1928 in Dayton, KY the daughter of William Harrison and Harriet Ann (Dameron) Worthing. She was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church and dedicated much of her time as the secretary of the local Weight Watchers. Betty also spent her free time as an artist, painting and drawing. Survivors include seven children and spouses, Dan & Sharon Bohn, Jane Tipton, Marty Bohn, Susan & Tommy Bryan, Nancy & Stuart Sharp, David Bohn and Andrew Bohn; 23 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; one sister, Renee Doyle, Springfield; two sisters-in-law, Jeanne Parker and Betty Lou D'Amico and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl in 2003, her parents and a sister, Virginia. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 1:30 pm in St. Teresa Catholic Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME, beginning at 12:15 pm. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
