Betty J. Hollingsworth

HOLLINGSWORTH, Betty J., 97, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018 in Oakwood Village. Betty was born August 6, 1921 in Greene County, Ohio to Arthur E. and Donna B. (Long) McHenry. She retired after 25 years as an Audit Supervisor from Sears-Robuck, and later worked for Job and Family Services for 19 years. She is survived by two daughters, Sue (Gary) Bowman and Martee (Roy) Rogers; nine grandchildren, Kelly (Chris) Lemon, Rob (Mary) Myers, Ginny (Barry) Roberts, John (Jodi) Fisher, Ben (Gail) Fisher, Tim (Lori) Rogers, Janie (Jim) Murphy, Randy (Angie) Rogers and Debbie (Gordon) Johnson; 21 great grandchildren; 18 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. "Bill" Hollingsworth in 1986; and one sister and five brothers. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Minister Brian Borton officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior in the funeral home, beginning at 12:00 p.m. Entombment will be held at Rose Hill Mausoleum. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Clark County SPCA.
