Beatrice Allen

ALLEN, Beatrice, 80, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2024 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born October 18, 1943 in Springfield, Ohio the daughter of Homer Hudson and Vernous L. (Drummond) Williams. Beatrice loved spending time with all her family, sitting at the slot machines and shopping. Survivors include four children, Kimberly Lanum, Jamie (Bethaney) Allen, Jason Allen and Jerrad Allen; seven grandchildren, Megan, Jennifer, Joshua, Kelsey, Austin, Jadyn and Brennan; nine great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and one brother, Curtis Williams and a sister, Charlene Livers. She was preceded in death by her husband James W. “Jim” Allen, Sr., a son, Brian and two brothers, Richard and Lawrence. The family would like to thank the staff at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton for their wonderful care. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be held one hour prior. Burial will follow in Vale Cemetery.
