Barbara K. Hill

HILL, Barbara K., 72, of South Charleston, passed away peacefully November 28, 2013 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born July 13, 1941 in Springfield the daughter of William and Glenna O'Neal (Vince). She retired from the Clark County Library in 2009. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in South Charleston where she served as an Elder, former church secretary and former Sunday school superintendent. Barb was also a former committee member and leader at Young Life. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Larry Hill; one daughter, Erin Hill, West Milton; one brother, Terry & Grace O'Neal, Springfield; one sister, Sandy & Ben Miller, Springfield; one aunt, June Balthaser, South Charleston and numerous nieces and nephews. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in South Charleston. Following the visitation a memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday in the church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Clark County Public Library or Young Life.
