PICKLESIMER, Barbara Jo (Will), 73, of Fairborn (Enon), passed away peacefully after a long illness on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Eaglewood Village Assisted Living, where she had resided for the past year. She was born in Springfield on August 3, 1943 to the late James T. and Travice J. (Strasburg) Will and was a lifelong resident of Clark County. She was an active member for many years of the Beta Sigma Phi (Epsilon Chapter) Sorority in Springfield and of the Red Hats Chapter in Enon. Barbara was retired from JC Penney where she had worked part time once her children were of school age, but first and foremost she was Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, always being there to enjoy and support them all in their school, sports and social activities as each generation grew up for more than 45 years. Survivors include her son, Mark J. Will of Columbus, her daughter, Michelle K. Hamilton of Lewis Center, OH; two grandchildren, Jenna (James) Bennett of Enon and Brendan (Heather McLemore) Picklesimer of Dixon, CA., three great grandchildren, Braxton and Aubree Bennett of Enon and Madelyn Picklesimer of Dixon, CA, along with other nieces and cousins, including her special cousin Sara Faudree of Columbus and her most special niece Kim Deitemeyer of Ocala, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack in 2014, her youngest son Matthew Picklesimer in 2003 and her brother Jay T. Will in 1995. Barbara also leaves behind her closest of friends Nancy Lyons of Springfield and Kathy Jung of Bellefontaine whom she has known since their years together in school, along with many other friends and neighbors who will remember her for her sense of humor and optimistic outlook. Friends may call from 4:30 to 7:00 pm on Monday April 3rd in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday April 4th in the funeral home with Rev. John D. MacQuarrie officiating. Burial will follow in St Bernard Cemetery in Springfield.
