Barbara J. Schutte

SCHUTTE, Barbara J., 77, of Springfield, passed away August 29, 2013 in Essex of Springfield after a courageous 2 and a half year battle with cancer. She was born May 23, 1936 in Middletown the daughter of Homer T. and Mary (McKee) Little. She worked in retail sales for Lazarus for a number of years. Barbara enjoyed her years of playing golf at Northwood Hill Country Club, living in Pinehurst, NC and her beloved grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Tom; two sons and spouses, Chris (Meighan) Schutte, Springfield and Matt (Courtney) Schutte, Columbus; six grandchildren, Flynn, Stella, Riley, Morgan, Claire and Evan; two brothers, Jerry (Janet) Little, Fairfield, Doug (Margie) Little, Middletown and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Vonnie. Friends may call from 1-3 p.m. Sunday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in St. Teresa Catholic Church.
