Barbara E. Meeks

MEEKS, Barbara E. 65, of Springfield, passed away March 27, 2017 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born June 10, 1951 in Morehead, KY the daughter of Charles Dinnen and Florida (Brown) Whitt. She worked as a housekeeper for the Ohio Masonic Home for 26 years and was a member of the Union Club, Buckeye Club and a former member of the F.O.E. #397. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Meeks; two daughters, Angela Tilley and Stacy & Andrew Lippencott; three stepsons, Jerry & Jamie Meeks, Jr., Jason & Anita Meeks and Eddie & Kristy Wiles; 13 grandchildren, Ashlynn, Justin, Alyssa, Kaleb, Jaren, Seth, Austin, Trevan, Tynan, Aubrynne-Jaymes, Abbey, Seth and Carter; 3 great grandchildren, Olivia, Jackson and Alexandria; siblings, Delbert & Jackie Whitt, Garnetta & Bill Propst, Daniel "Danny" Whitt and Kay & Jimmy Beverly and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a stepson, Steven Meeks. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Rick Clos officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
