Anna Marie Rizer

RIZER, Anna Marie, 97, of Springfield, passed away Thursday, August 07, 2014 in her residence. She was born March 3, 1917 in Springfield the daughter of John H. and Rosetta (Mullee) Leary. Anna Marie had worked as the school and parish secretary for St. Teresa Catholic Church for a number of years where she was also a member. Survivors include three daughters and spouses, Joan (Fred) Pallant, Springfield, Rosemary (Joseph) Herron, Indianapolis and Mary Ann (Bill) Harless, Springfield; eight grandchildren, Fred, Jim and John Pallant, Joe (Colette), John (Wendy), Abby, Patrick Herron and Amy (Paul) Zimmermann; four great grandchildren, Joshua, Quinn, Jude and Wren; two sisters, Jean Leary and Joann Thomas; many devoted friends, loving caregivers and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, James G. in 2003, her sister, Louise Jung and a brother, Jack Leary. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. in the CONROY FUNRAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 1:00 p.m. in St. Teresa Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Teresa Catholic Church or Catholic Central High School.
