GEERS, Ann Elizabeth (Grannen), 92, of Springfield passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015 in Forest Glen Health Campus. She was born May 13, 1923 in Cincinnati the daughter of Edward and Mary Grannen. She was a graduate of Regina High School in Cincinnati, a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church, Springfield since 1953, Mercy Hospital Library Guild and Volunteered at Catholic Social Services and St Vincent DePaul. Survivors include eight children and spouses, Thomas J (Arden) Geers, Jr, Cincinnati, OH, Richard E (Sandy) Geers, Dublin, OH, David E (Cindy) Geers, Covington, KY, Mary Katherine "Kathy" (Keith) Conley, Springfield, OH, Nancy Ann (Mikael) Sahrling, Cupertino, CA,, James M (Teresa) Geers, Plain City, OH, Edward J (Rachael) Geers, Goshen, KY, and Michael J (Mary Ann) Geers, Hilliard, OH; 14 grandchildren, Andy, Gretchen, Amy, Dan, Kristen, Eric, Nicole, Keli, Holly, Meredith, Tyler, Joe, Ben, & Katie; 15 great grandchildren, Jeanna, Josh, Jake, Katie, Paige, Taylor, Sydney, Ashley, Jared, Jacob, Charlotte(Lottie), Grace, Luke, Colton, & Anna; siblings, Patricia (George) Jacobs, Edward (Phyllis) Grannen and Nancy Dreisbach; sister-in-law, Corrinne Grannen; special friends, Janet Digel Koerner, Eleanor Rump Weigel and Katherine Weeks. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, Sr. in 2000, her parents and three siblings, James Grannen, Mary Grannen and Joe Grannen. The family would like to extend a special thanks to niece, Ann Mary and Dr. Vijay Chitkara and children, Olivia, Audrey and Hirsh, Comfort Keepers, and Forest Glen Health Campus for all their care and support. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Friday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Raphael Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery.
