Alta J. Shivler

SHIVLER, Alta J., 95, of Springfield, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2020 in Good Shepherd Village. She was born September 19, 1925 in New Moorfield, Ohio the daughter of the late Oscar and Mary Elizabeth (Wright) Poole. She retired from Springfield Federal Savings and Loan after many years there. Alta was a lifelong member of New Beginnings United Methodist Church. Survivors include four children and spouses, Gloria & Ken Knight, Springfield, Anita & Jim McCormack, Navarre, Florida, James & Rebecca Shivler, Jr., Springfield and Shirley & Tom Campbell, Clarence, New York; nine grandchildren; thirty five great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Shivler, Sr. and four siblings. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. WATCH ALTA's FUNERAL SERVICE
