Alma Pearl Uptegraph

Uptegraph, Alma Pearl, 91, of Springfield, passed away on December 5, 2013 in her residence. She was born in Springfield on January 30, 1922 the daughter of Andrew M. and Minnie Pearl (Stinson) Parsell. She worked in the circulation department at the Springfield News-Sun for many years. Survivors include three children, Larry (Mary Ritchie) Uptegraph of Dayton, Carolyn (Johnny) McNeeley of Jacksonville, Florida and Dianna Laskovics of Springfield; seven grandchildren, Andrea Vosskuehler, Claudia Benson, Andrew Uptegraph, Michele West, Kim Hittell, Michael Brown and Amanda Samana; 15 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren and one brother, William Parsell of Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, in 2005. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
