Allois Whitaker

Whitaker, Allois, 81, died peacefully at home on Monday, April 25, 2016 in Springfield. She was born on April 21, 1935 in Lee City, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rolla and Maranda (Dunn) Wilson, and her son Ronnie Sexton. She is survived by her three children and spouses, Charlene (Charlie) Jenkins, Kirk (Debbie) Sexton and Teresa (Scot) Keller; six grandchildren, Matthew Jenkins, Jenny Drugmand, Eric and Steve Sexton, Stacy Keller and Tangie Cromwell; three great grandchildren, Alexis Plummer, Wesley Cromwell and Carter Cline. She retired from ITT Jabsco after 24 years of service. She was an amazing woman and mother who always put her family first and had an open door policy when someone needed a place to stay. Her unending strength and faith in God helped her to raise her four children on her own. God is taking back one of his angels and we were all blessed to have her in our lives. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 1:00 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Larry Marvel officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held at Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Colonial Baptist Church.
