Alice Riffe

Riffe, Alice Elizabeth (Bailey), 82, of Springfield passed away Monday, July 1, 2013 at Forest Glen Health Campus. She was born September 3, 1930 in Logan County, Ohio and was the daughter of George and Mildred (Couchman) Bailey. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church. Alice attended Springfield Business College and then worked for the City of Springfield in various divisions for over 30 years. She had a love for quilting, volunteering at Kuss Auditorium, and visiting with family and friends. She is survived by her 3 children Cindi (Mike) Duffy, Michael (Denise) Riffe, and Rick (Angie) Riffe, 5 grandchildren, Cara (Eli) Jacomet, Ryan and Mark Duffy, Colin and Carmen Riffe, her sister Shirley (Winfred) McDonald, brothers Phillip (Kathy) Bailey and Frank (Janet) Bailey and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert and a brother Raymond. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with Pastor Jeffrey Mullinix officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
