Alex P. Anderson

Anderson, Alex P., 76 of New Carlisle, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021. He was born in Springfield on August 31, 1944 the son of Peter and Marie (Georgopoulos) Anderson. He was the former CEO of Laird's Tax Service for 39 years and also owned and operated Anderson Enterprises. He was a member of the Assumption of The Blessed Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, where he formerly served as President and Treasurer, he was the Supreme Governor of the Order of AHEPA, District 11 and was a 32nd Degree Freemasonry. Survivors include his wife, Terri L. (McDaniel); two daughters and spouses, Angela (Matthew) Madtes of New Carlisle and Nikki (George) Kalemanis of Cincinnati; one granddaughter, Anna Madtes; two sisters, Beverly Anderson and Sylvia Krupp; two nephews, Peter (Kathy) Green and Stephen Green; two great nieces and one great nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Leon and Christie Anderson and one sister, Sharon Green. A private service will be held with entombment to follow in Ferncliff Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Assumption of The Blessed Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church. Arrangements by CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
