Satz, Albert D., 84, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2017 in Brookdale Englewood. He was born January 7, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Stanley and Angelina (Stansiz) Satz. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force for 22 years, before retiring as Flight Line Chief and later worked and retired from the Springfield Traffic Engineering Department. He was also a lifetime member of V.F.W. Post 8673 and a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Survivors include his three daughters and spouses, Cristine (Tim) Surace of Tipp City, Teresa (Chuck) Campbell of Nelsonville and Dina (Bill) Mokas of Kettering; one grandson and fiancée, Zachary Vallandingham and Abby Weingart; three siblings and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis in 2001. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
