Alan Lewis Mills

Mills, Alan Lewis, 76, of Springfield, Ohio passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. Alan was born on March 15, 1948 in Louisa, Kentucky, the son of Arthur and Marianna (Wellman) Mills. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving in Vietnam, and had been employed as a mechanical engineer for Mad River Fabricating. Alan was a member of the Springfield Elks Lodge 51, formerly Northwood Hills Country Club. He was a lifetime member of the DAV and a huge fan of The Ohio State University Buckeyes. Alan loved his family and is survived by his wife, Debra (Bennett); sons, Kyle (Brittnay) Mills and Casey (Holly) Mills; four grandchildren, Bennett, Grayson, Brookelynn and Parker; brother, Kevin Mills; nieces and nephews, Courtney, Jim (Sara) and Rachael (James). He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held on Friday at 1:00pm in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be held two hours prior, starting at 11:00am in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Disabled Americans Veterans Club.
