Geis, Agnes Mary, 89, of Springfield, died January 6, 2013 in Greene Memorial Hospital, Xenia, OH. She was born February 11, 1923 in Omaha, NE, to Stephen and Agnes M. (Resslar) Marinovic. Agnes retired after 38 years as a dispatcher with Ohio Bell Telephone Company. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, the Ohio Bell Telephone Pioneers and was an avid amateur artist. Survivors include three children, Patricia (Dave) Cafferty, Yellow Springs, Charles E. (Gwen) Geis, McAlester, OK and Michael (Suzanne) Geis, Little Rock, AK; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, three brothers, a granddaughter, and two nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Bernard Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Private burial will be held at St. Bernard Mausoleum. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society or Springfield Regional Cancer Center.
