Several years ago Mary Lou began to share a lunch or dinner dining table with my wife and me as I visited Forest Glen most days. Mary Lou was a delightful dining partner as we shared stories, laughed, and sometimes discussed serious topics. Since Covid restrictions, we had to limit our contact to texts, a few calls, and at-window visits. She was such a delight. I will miss this sweet lady. My deepest sympathy to her family.

For several years, I was so blessed to take Eucharist to Mary Lou. Of course, that was pre-pandemic and, generally, I went to her room last so as to have time to chat and catch up on anything that was important at the time. It might be the weather, her health, our families, and very much a favorite...politics. We were joined at the hip on that! Mary Lou was fun, honest and very much loved her family and church. Our prayer time together was sacred time. My condolences to you all. She is already so misssed.
