Words cannot express the loss and pain we are feeling over your absence in our world, Connor. So many memories continue to flash through my mind from us playing Nintendo in the basement as kids to spending family vacations together. When you grow up with cousins as amazing as you and your sisters, you grow up with extra brothers and sisters. You were so special though Connor. You lived in the moment, not for the moment. You spoke your mind and stood your ground for what you believed in. You made the world a better place for all of us. I know nothing we do or say can bring you back to us, but we will forever keep you in our hearts and keep your memory alive for Emma. We will toast in your honor and tell stories of our youth and continue to strive being the best version of ourselves to make you proud. We love and miss you with all our hearts, Connor. Until we meet again on the other side. Love always.

Spragg!!! You always made me laugh so hard and just always a positive soul! This is such a shock and just way to soon :( I am so happy I got to serve with you in 5/7. You were always a positive battle buddy and always knew how to bring everyone up even during the craziest times we had to go through. I remember all our great conversations sitting in the humvees over night to watch the launchers and all the fun times in Poland and Germany. You never judged anyone the wrong way either you saw life in an amazing way and it was always a great time to be around you and to work with. I can say a lot. You will be greatly missed and always loved my man. You will always have a positive place in my life and so many others. May you be at peace now even tho you were takin way to soon. Love you battle! Connor you always knew how to make anyone laugh! Anyone who knew you knew that you lived life to the fullest every day!! High school days wouldn’t have been the same without you a part of them. You seriously were like a little brother to me your then! Although after high school passed we lived our own lives I’m told not a darn thing changed! I was stationed in Germany with Connor, he seemed to be able to make friends with anyone. He was the only person I met while I was in that knew where New Carlisle was. He will be missed by many of his military friends. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

I always enjoyed watching the Spragg children from our kitchen window. Connor was always so cute and had a big smile. When I think of Connor I always remember the cowboy boots he would wear. At first they were way to big for him. As time passed Connor grew and the boots fit and he still had the great big smile. Connor grew to be a fine young man. We loved having him be our neighbor. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

- Catherine Spitler , Sunday May 24th, 2020
