I hardly know where to start, I am so very sad at this news. Bobby was always so silly, just a fun goofy nice guy. He was my first boyfriend in high school, and will always hold a special place in my heart and memories. Gods blessings to the Mitchell family. Thoughts and prayers with you all. I’m sure Mom Mitchell has her hands full in heaven with Bobby, Rob, Jerry MAC, Rusty, Skip. Wow, so many young men of this generation, gone from our world much to soon.

I am so sorry to hear this. I went to Schaefer Junior High with Bobby ( I still remember him as "Bobby" and his brother as "Dickie"), and I can remember him playing basketball for Schaefer and playing for South against my North. My sympathies go to his entire family. I know what it is like to lose a sibling. My late sister, Peggy Hamilton, was a classmate of Dickie's.

- Denise Hamilton, Wednesday December 26th, 2018

I remember Bob when we were in high school. He was on the basketball team. May God comfort the Mitchell Family!

- Cindy (Gaier) Schulte, Wednesday December 26th, 2018

Please know you and your family are in my prayers. Bob and I attended South High together. I remember his kind, quiet nature. I'm sorry for his unexpected passing forward.

So sad to hear of Bob’s passing. He was one of the first friends I made on Belmont when I arrived from England. Went to school with him through Jr and High School. We rode to South in his bug every day 10th grade, chipped in a buck a week for gas. Rode with a couple other guys that have passed on also, Rusty Saunders and Jim Wright. RIP Bob.

- Dave Smith, Wednesday December 26th, 2018
