I wanted to say how sorry I am to hear about Chef Randy’s passing. He was a great teacher and one of my favorites. His sense of humor was out of this world. And his care for his students was the same. He will be missed greatly!

Sorry to hear of your loss. Death always brings sorrow and pain but we can gain a measure of comfort in knowing that Jehovah God knows exactly how you feel because he also lost a loved one in death, his son Jesus Christ. God's sorrow and pain was only temporary because he resurrected his son from the dead and in the bible he holds out that wonderful hope to all those who have lost loved ones in death. At John 11:25 Jesus tells us "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life." Yes, we have the hope of seeing our loved ones again in the very near future when Jesus resurrects the dead. The bible also tells us that it will be at a time when "death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." - Revelation 21:3, 4. To learn more about this wonderful hope please visit and search, “When a loved one dies.”

So sorry to hear of Butch's passing - Tom and I have known him for years at Plymouth Shore and saw his dedication to the park and especially to his family, including those precious grandchildren. He will be greatly missed - loved the reference to his booming voice. Never talked to him about Sinclair but I have family members teaching there who probably knew him in that setting. You never know what is coming next in this life, but Butch lived his life to the fullest - I am sure he will be watching over us.
