Sonny Rankin was always my HERO. He was the "toughest guy in town" when I attended Hayward and Springfield South. He came to a lot of my basketball games and always gave me pointers. He allowed me to live in his home with my sister Carolyn when our Dad was out of town so I would not be alone. We have a lot of stories to share. I will always love and respect Sonny Rankin.
