My favorite memory of Larry is the smile on his face and the joy it brought him to help others. He helped us fulfill a dream for a senior at Villa Springfield by bringing one of his tractors to this gentleman to sit in one last time. I am not sure who it meant more to the recipient of the wish or Larry, but I do know it was meaningful and memorable to both.

Larry was a die hard Wittenberg Tiger! My four years a s a student and six years as a coach are littered with memories of Tuffy's big voice. He loved his family and the big picture that athletics played in life. Larry was always willing to work hard, play hard and expect the best from his boys. I remember it like it was yesterday when I was coaching at Wittenberg Larry saying, "Hobby, kick Charlie's ass in practice because he needs it..." Great man who lived a full life that should be celebrated.
